Another “Mega” brace, another rout and another title. That was the story at the Metropolitan Oval a week ago Thursday when 10-man New York Greek-American/Atlas thrashed Hoboken FC 6-1 to clinch the East title in their penultimate game of the Cosmopolitan Soccer League regular season.

Player-coach Austin Friel was on cloud nine last Sunday after leading Lansdowne Bhoys to their first Manning Cup final. The Bhoys beat Manhattan Celtic, 3-1, on penalties in the semifinals, avenging an earlier loss to Ian Woodcock’s lads in the CSL.
