MLS made it a perfect 5-0 in all-star games against international competition, defeating West Ham United of the English Premier League, 3-2, in front of a sellout crowd of 20,844 at BMO Field Thursday night. Christian Gomez, Cuauhtémoc Blanco and hometown boy Dwayne De Rosario scored for the MLS all-stars, while Dean Ashton scored both goals for West Ham. Blanco, Chicago Fire star and former Mexican international was named the game’s MVP with a goal and an assist in the opening 45 minutes.
