January 7, 2010 SECOND TEAM ALL-FROSH College Soccer News lauds Adelphi's Tall
Adelphi University freshman Issa Tall (Mulhouse, France) was named to the 2009 College Soccer News All-Freshman aecond team.
This is the fourth post-season honor that Tall has received. He also was named to the Soccer America All-Freshman team.
Tall joined first team selection Ryan Clark of Monmouth and fellow second-team honoree Leonardo Fernandes of Stony Brook as the only area players selected to appear on one the College Soccer News all-freshman team.
Tall scored 16 goals in 18 games and finished the year ranked second nationally in goals per game (0.89) and fourth in points per game (1.83).
The French native was the unanimous pick for the Atlantic Soccer Conference player of the year, nominated for Soccer News Net player of The year, named to Goal.com's All-Freshman Team and named to the North Atlantic All-Region first team.
The Panthers finished with a 13-2-4 record and captured the ASC regular season and tournament titles.
