Hunter College earned its first City Univeristy of New York Athletic Association title in almost a decade after it outlasted defending champion York College in penalty kicks, 3-2, after playing a 1-1 tie on Saturday afternoon.

York bests Evers to reach CUNYAC final
The York College men advanced to the City University of New York Athletic Conference championship game by defeating Medgar Evers College on penalty kicks Saturday afternoon. After 110 minutes of play, neither team could amount a goal but the Cardinals won, 3-1, on penalty kicks to advance to their second straight CUNYAC final.
