Well, well, well. Landon Donovan has some thinking to do these days.

He has been offered not one, but two deals to return to Major League Soccer in 2017, according to reports.

Donovan, who came out of retirement to help the LA Galaxy in its stretch run and in the playoffs last season, can choose from Real Salt Lake and an Eastern Conference team, those reports said. He had retired from playing after the 2014 season.

Soccerwire.com's Charles Boehm reported Wednesday night that Donovan was weighing a free agent offer from Real Salt Lake for 2017.

Blake Thomsen of American Soccer Now later said that Donovan had been offered a two-year Designated Player deal with RSL.

ESPN sideline reporter Julie Stewart-Binks stated on twitter that an unnamed Eastern Conference team had also offered the 34-year-old Donovan a deal.

In six regular-season games with the Galaxy in 2016, Donovan scored one goal over 233 minutes.

He recorded an assists in three games over 222 minutes during the playoffs.

Donovan is the MLS all-time leader in goals (145) and assists (136).

The MLS MVP award is named after Donovan, which would be interesting situation if he winds up playing a full season in his last comeback.
