Cabrera to return to U-17 team
Wilmer Cabrera will bring the U.S. U-17 team to Red Bull Arena for the soft opening of the soccer-specific stadium Saturday.

U.S. women won't go to U-17 WWC
In what has to be a devastating and disppointing result for the U.S. Soccer women's program, the Americans' Under-17 team failed to reach the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Thursday. The U.S. was beaten by Canada in penalty kicks, 5-3, after the two rivals played to a scoreless tie in regulation and extratime at the CONCACAF U-17 semifinals. The Canadians qualified for the FIFA tournament.
