Both players are essentially hometown players with McNamara hailing from West Nyack, N.Y. and Allen from Old Bridge, N.J.
McNamara, 25, taken in the expansion draft prior to the 2015 season, has netted 10 goals and added 12 assists in 49 Major League Soccer games.
ďIím really excited to have signed a new deal," McNamara said. "Itís been a very enjoyable two years and to be here from the opening day to where we are now, I know this club has helped me to grow in so many ways.
ďIt means a lot to play for this team Ė one, because Iíve been here to see the growth in the two years and two, because itís my hometown club. Itís an honor to represent this city and these fans.
ďWhen actions like these are taken it shows the faith and expectations placed on me and Iím fully on board to try to live up to them."
Allen, 26, who made his debut against Seattle Sounders on May 3, 2015, built on his promising first season last year by locking down the right back position, making 24 appearances.
ďThis game is being played better than it ever has in the history of it in this league," Allen said. "It's growing immensely and I am very happy to be a part of it.
ďI hope to be around this football club for a long time - I love this city, I love this football club and all the people involved with it.
ďIt means the world to me to have the opportunity to play in front of my friends and family week-in and week-out and itís something I donít take for granted."
