Due to their international commitments, they will be unavailable for selection for the Red Bulls’ match at Real Salt Lake Oct. 9.
Rojas, second all-time in country history in caps with 86 and the national team captain, joined the Red Bulls July 17. The former Caracas FC midfielder has recorded four assists in seven MLS appearances this season. Rojas also was called up to the National Team for a pair of World Cup Qualifying losses to Peru (0-1) and Paraguay (0-2) earlier this month.
Cichero, 24, has earned 12 caps for Venezuela, scoring one goal. He signed with the Red Bulls Aug. 6 and has made five starts after joining the club from Deportivo Italia of the Venezuelan First Division.
Venezuela (2-5-1, seven points) is in a tie for eighth in the 10-team South America qualifying group. The top four teams qualify for the 2010 World Cup while the fifth placed team will have a home-and-away playoff with the fourth place team from CONCACAF.
Venezuela’s matches against Brazil and Ecuador will take place in San Cristobal, Venezuela and Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela, respectively.
