Red Bulls finish DDC with loss to Revolution

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The New York Red Bulls concluded the Desert Diamond Cup winless, falling, 2-0, to the New England Revolution in their final preseason match Saturday.

The Red Bulls (0-2-1) used a starting lineup with four MLS rookies, three USL players, two trialists, an unsigned draft pick and a Red Bulls Academy player.

The MLS players included goalkeeper Rafael Diaz, center back Hassan Ndam, midfielder Arun Basuljevic and midfielder Zeiko Lewis.

Kelyn Rowe scored in the 52nd minute, burying a chipped shot from the top of the penalty area, and Lee Nguyen scored in the 89th minute.
