Those two players and the USA will play against Colombia in hopes of helping the United States qualify for the Rio Summer Olympics. The first leg is set for at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto MelÚndez in Barranquilla, Colombia Friday at 5 p.m. ET (Fox Sports 1) while the second leg is scheduled for Toyota Soccer in Frisco, Texas on Tuesday, March 29 at 9:30 p.m ET (ESPN2).
The playoffs are an aggregate goals series.
Shelton was called up to the U.S. men's camp this winter. He dressed for the Canada match but did not play. He has played three matches this season and has recorded a goal and assist for NYCFC.
Miazga, the 2015 U.S. Soccer young male player of the year, was transferred by the Red Bulls to Chelsea for a reported $5 million earlier this winter.
A former St. John's University standout, Parker has been a regular on the Vancouver backline. Parker, who was called in to the U.S. men's national team's January Camp, last appeared for the USA at the U-18 level.
Under FIFA and Olympic regulations, all players participating in the preliminary and final competition must have been born on or after Jan. 1, 1993. Teams that qualify for the Olympics will be permitted a maximum of three over-age players.
