Spain coach Luis Aragones emptied his bench for Friday’s meaningless Group H finale at Fritz-Walter Stadion, and his subs stepped up to defeat Saudi Arabia 1-0. It was far from a perfect effort, however, and a second-half letdown by Spain kept the outcome in suspense until the final minutes.

Tunisians bag stoppage-time equalizer
Tunisia grabbed a dramatic stoppage-time equalizer to pull even with Saudi Arabia in a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. Tunisia held an early lead but Saudi Arabia scored goals in the 57th and 84th minutes and held the lead in the 90th minute before Tunisia answered late.

Four-peats for al-Jaber, al-Deayea
Saudi Arabia coach Marcos Paqueta named a pair of World Cup old-timers to his roster. Both forward Sami al-Jaber and goalkeeper Mohammad al-Deayea will be playing in their fourth Finals.
