LEFT BACK NO MORE
Switched to midfield, Jacob goes on the offensive, although he still loves to play defense

A defender by nature and preference, Walter Jacob is putting his best foot forward as a left-sided midfielder and an attacking option for Mattituck High boys soccer team this season.

HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE
Williams shows his versatility and impact

Kevin Williams is quickly becoming the jack of all trades for the Mattituck High School boys’ soccer team and the master of most of them if not all, as well.

IN THEIR MEMORY
Mattituck's Ilgin dedicates goals, assists to his departed grandfathers

Kaan Ilgin: "I always score my goals for him because he was like my father. He pushed me to play soccer. He would always watch me play soccer and enjoy me doing skills and stuff." It doesn't matter if Kaan Ilgin sets up a goal or scores one. Both of his departed grandfathers will be in his mind when the senior midfielder helps Mattituck High School score a goal this season.

IT WAS OVER BEFORE IT WAS OVER

HE'S BACK -- WITH EMPHASIS ON BACK
Albert ready to return to give to give Center Moriches a big scoring boost

Kevin Albert: "It was tough watching. I appreciate the coaches keeping me around. It felt good. They definitely wanted me there. I appreciated that. It made me feel good. I was still part of the team although I wasn't playing." They don't give out a comeback player of the year in Suffolk County boys soccer, but Center Moriches senior forward Kevin Albert certainly would be a leading candidate just by stepping onto the field.

THEY'RE NOT GOING AWAY

For obvious reasons, males and females are built differently, some things that are more advantageous for one sex over another and others that are not so good in other respects. That goes double when it comes to the knee.
